Centering On Love

Morning Meds; 6 7 20

Fear restricts,

Love enhancers.

If there is a hint of fear, find the counterpoint of its love based equivalent.

You cannot have one without the other, but you can always choose one over another.

What you look at or for is what we see.

We thrive by replacing fear-based beliefs with love-based beliefs.

Like a hurricane, unconditional love is our core essence, our center, silent and still, filled with light.

Fear is the wind that disrupts our peacefulness.

The more we center ourselves the less fear we respond to.

Shrinking Forever Smaller

Morning Meds; 6 7 19

When we contemplate a never-ending universe extending on forever, we shrink forever smaller.

It makes it possible that what we see as our universe, is nothing more than a single photon, in the grand theme of things and yet we are conscious of unconditional love and choose to believe that we are individually and as a whole a recipient of that love.

It’s a big world out there. Think how much more love that reveals.

Dream, Pet Eaters

Morning Meds; 6 6 19

This is an odd dream for me, definitely not a normal subject matter.

Dream….

Stuck in a room with unfamiliar people. We are in danger!

We leave the room and enter a hallway, but we have to run back into the room.

One of the people with us had gotten injured.

I stopped to talk to him right before we reenter the room.

He is like a small puddle on the hallway floor.

His arms are shortened, no hands, there is goo all around him, but not blood.

He is gone from most of his chest down, some of his white shirt still floating.

He is kind of a cross between the Scarecrow after the winged monkeys tossed him all about and the android guy on Aliens 2.

His face is just sticking out of the goo, and he is still conscious.

Our eyes meet and he says, “No reason to try to save me I’m dead already.”

I agreed and hurried into the room.

I realize now that they are zombies.

Someone says to me. “The pet eaters are out there still.”

(Cheryl said I was laughing in my sleep, calling the zombies, pet eaters did strike me funny. Not that someone eating your pet would be funny, but…oh well don’t judge me.)

We all piled out of a door leading outside towards the south.

We stop beside a car, and I can see the Pet Eaters coming towards us.

One of us has a rifle that can shoot seventy miles.

He puts in a shell and pulls off a round.

In the distance towards the west, a very long way away from where it was needed, we see the streak of light flash to the ground.

Someone’s voice booms through the night sky. “Now that’s a great thing to do to interstate during rush hour.”

We all turned to run back into the room, but we had barricaded the door when we came out, so now we couldn’t get back in.

So, we scrambled to remove the debris.

We get inside and some of the zombies are coming through the door after us, one in particular looks at me, he is balding with a beard and says, “You have to like me now, I’m a Pet Eaters now.”

That’s when I wake up and my wife says, ” You sure most of been having a fun time, you were just laughing away.”

The dream was like a b rated horror movie.

I felt almost zero emotions other than being amazed and amused at the absurdity of it.

I don’t remember laughing in the dream.

I’m going to take it up with my dream producer and see if I deserve a refund.

Visiting Elves

Morning Meds; 6 6 19

This isn’t a morning thought, it’s more of an afternoon delight.

(Although much different than the subject matter of the song).

A week ago, or so my mower broke, the pull cord lost all tension.

It has been waiting in the shed for me to attempt the needed repair.

Of the many challenges in life, working on machines with pull cords is about top of the list of activities that can strip me of any resemblance of spiritual growth.

Last night after work, I walked through the tall grass to the shed to see what I could do.

I was thinking the sledgehammer and a checkbook might be a great time saver.

When I pulled the mower out, I gave the cord a pull and to my great surprise it had tension on it.

I don’t know if Santa’s elves are moonlighting or if the cobbler’s elves have expanded their business to include small engine repair, but the mower was/is repaired.

Hallelujah!!!!

There was even a screw halfway sticking up like it had been worked on, I thought one of my sons had fixed it.

He said he hadn’t touched it.

I have no explanation, at least from this side of reality.

There may be one, but I’ve never had a pull cord tighten back up, it is generally a futile frustration that ends in the need for some combination of repentance and penance and at the least some new parts, possibly a new mower with less large dents.

The universe conspires to help us.

I hope your day will go as well.

Math Solutions

Morning Meds; 6 5 19

There are at least as many realities as there are minds to create them and there are as many perspectives as there are opinions, so your choices and beliefs are as valid as anyone else’s.

So how many places could your imagination go if you calculated all the possibilities?

Math problem.

Take your realities and

multiply them by the infinite number of doors your imagination can open,

Square it by an endless number of layers of dimensions,

add on the possibilities of parallel universes,

multiply all of that by an infinite Consciousness that we are always one with….

that equals a whole lot of opinions.

You know, that really gives you a lot of wiggle room to find a possible solution to whatever is troubling you.

Sometimes you just have to take a little trip to somewhere new to get rid of the old.

Open your heart and quiet your mind and book yourself a flight.

Soul Tuner

Morning Meds; 6 5 22

A guitar tuner is an electric device that measures the vibration/frequency of a guitar string.

When you pluck the string an indicator hand will pivot to what frequency it is vibrating at.

You turn the tuning pegs to adjust the string to the correct pitch.

Meditation is a practice that helps us measure our vibrations/frequency.

Our emotions are the string that produce the momentary sounds of our soul.

The silence of meditation allows us to adjust our thoughts, so we are in harmony with our higher power.
