We often view our spiritual development as a journey.
We climb mountains, cross barriers, overcome adversity.
We are continually searching for the path to whatever we believe the finish line to be.
Another view is that we have never been separated, we are one with the Source of All and all the drama is just a tremendous dream.
I lean strongly toward the latter, but both seem plausible.
Well, there is a way it could be both, possible the only thing wandering is our awareness, and all the drama is just the process of regaining our memory and focus.
We are on an elaborate journey of recovery from spiritual amnesia, while all the while we are resting comfortably at the elusive finish line.
To me the finish line would be centered in the heart of the Source of All.
Who knows?
I have found that when my awareness is centered on the belief that I’m completely safe within the heart of the Source of All, I always feel most at home.
Enjoy the trip.
