For the love of dreams; 11 27 19
I posted about a scary dream; this is short fun dream.
The symbol of a starfish has become a significant component of my meditation world over the last year or so.
Deep in the sea of my imagination is a huge starfish named Predominance. It is as large as an island. It is a main figure in a short story I’m working on. In meditation I often sit upon it’s huge back and look off into the great darkness surrounding it. At the ends of its appendages lay the five elemental lakes of changing energy that are used in Taoism, Buddhism and many Earth related beliefs. Water, Fire, Earth, etc., they vary a bit depending on the discipline. They have become quite vivid.
I had never bothered to see what a starfish is thought to represent in dream symbolism. Two nights ago, in a dream I saw a hand extended towards me. In the hand were five newly, let’s say hatched, starfish. They were about the size of a silver dollar. I was told to eat them, I shook my head and said, “No, I don’t want to kill them.”
When I woke up, I looked up Starfish in my 20,000 Dreams book by Mary Summer Rain, they represent spiritual truths. How fun is that?
I respectfully and symbolically gobbled them down the next day I meditated.
I encourage everyone to pay attention to your dreams, they are an open channel to higher plains. There are many blessings being poured out at this time and you can receive them while you sleep, can’t beat that.
