Sadly, the glory of gratitude shines brightest against the backdrop of suffering, either by the lessening of your own suffering or through the act of comparing your situation to another’s.
I give a thank you, to all those who have shown compassion and given help to my family and myself. Thank you for, physical and financial help, emotional support, the hugs on days clouded with grief and the spiritual gifts of good wishes and prayers.
I’m grateful for the constant flow of love that has always been mine for the asking.
Thank you, to my wife Cheryl and my wonderful family, friends, employer, past employers, acquaintances and most of all the glorious Creator of this universe that has allowed me to be surrounded by love.
I thank the Creator of All, for the variety of situations I’ve experienced that have led up to this moment. Without them I wouldn’t be equipped to enjoy the splendor of gratitude.
I also thank those, who for whatever the reason, are still suffering in some sort of poverty, for without your plight, I would not recognize my blessings.
May I use your situation to sow seeds of compassion in my heart and may the seeds grow into loving actions, that will help you or another to enjoy the wonder of gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving
