Who Is Driving

Morning Meds; 3 4 19

If a car was driverless and we were just along for the ride….

The car would determine our direction of travel, rate of speed and destination.

The radio would dictate, the music and information listened to.

Our comfort would depend on how it set the gauges.

Our interaction with outside environments would depends upon if the windows were up or down.

The car could be a luxury sedan, a sports car or a clunker.

We would not be able to pick the people riding with us, it could be, those we enjoy and maybe a few, not so much.

If we wanted out, well it’s up to the car.

We would be at its mercy.

I wonder if it could be compared to letting our thoughts run unmonitored.

Speaking of myself… I often realize that the station playing on the radio of my mind, is not the one I prefer.

I, out of habit and familiarity just didn’t change the dial.

We are creative spiritual beings.

Our thoughts are our tools for change.

We can create any tool we need.

The box holding the tools, is imagination.

I always feel at my worst when I realize I’m travelling in a car labeled Victim.

That means I’ve given my tools to someone else.

Choose your life, it is your choice.

My wife Cheryl and I live in St. Joseph, Missouri. She is retired and watches three of our 12 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild. I work as a maintenance man at Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas. I have a BA in Art with an emphasis in ceramics. I am a second degree Reiki practitioner and BQH (Beyond Quantum Healing) practitioner. I started writing spiritual related posts in 2018 and started sharing them on a few different Facebook sites. This site is to consolidate and re-share them. It is also to share short stories based on images seen while in meditation. My hopes are that it will inspire others to use the powerful tool of visualisation to enhance their spiritual journey. Thank you.
