Ancient Pathways

Morning Med 3 24 21

We travel ancient pathways

lit by lamps of memories

ignited by persuasive flames

kindled in the hearth of our soul.

In meditations and spiritual journeys

we return to our memories.

As living consciousness

we journey through recollections

returning to our past mortal dreams,

reexperiencing contrasting energies.

Persuasive prodding’s

push us to recall

not only our moments of mortality,

but also, our primordial existence.

We visit the between times,

to the times when we.

return to our original form,

reacquaint ourselves with ourselves,

retouch our essence unencumbered,

rest in the relief of old energy forgotten,

relish restoring renewals.

These excursions into our primordial existence

remind us of how we have danced

with duality and nonduality and

how are endlessly weaving our way

through the eyelets of time,

lacing together the fabrics of

mortality and immortality.

The consciousness of one completes

the consciousness of the other and

we can rest in the knowledge

that we are forever…

My wife Cheryl and I live in St. Joseph, Missouri. She is retired and watches three of our 12 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild. I work as a maintenance man at Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas. I have a BA in Art with an emphasis in ceramics. I am a second degree Reiki practitioner and BQH (Beyond Quantum Healing) practitioner. I started writing spiritual related posts in 2018 and started sharing them on a few different Facebook sites. This site is to consolidate and re-share them. It is also to share short stories based on images seen while in meditation. My hopes are that it will inspire others to use the powerful tool of visualisation to enhance their spiritual journey. Thank you.
