Silence of the Gap

Morning Meds; 3 21 19

Since the 17th I’ve been meditating on emptiness.

Our universe is 99% empty space, 1% is manifested energy.

If we were small enough to see atoms, they would be flashing in and out of manifestation like lighting bugs in a dark meadow.

I think the unmanifested energy is consciousness.

The great Void.

That means, 99% of my physical space is consciousness.

Only 1% of me is physical matter.

No wonder we have all our answers inside of us.

There’s a meditation book by Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra, called Getting into the Gap.

In a nutshell, you use a phrase, the book uses the lord’s prayer.

You visualize a word and as you spell it, you stop and go back to the gap between the letters.

It creates a wonderful stillness for an instant.

It’s like the pause you experience when you think you heard something and your body shuts off your other senses, so you can listen.

It’s a great technique to help you meditate.

Seeing myself as mostly empty space is like getting into gap on steroids.

We are huge, unlimited, we are one with the Intelligent Consciousness.

There’s no place to go, nothing more to search for.

Just the feel of it answers many old questions.

The Power of Silence

Morning Meds; 3 22 19

Did anyone else feel an odd stillness when they woke up?

The stillness of a huge cog winding down.

The silence of a stilled motor.

A quietness that almost pushes against your skin.

A silence like someone rolled up a car window.

The silence on an anesthetic just before you fade into unconsciousness.

A decision point, where one can scramble for renewed clamor or relax to the silence and search for its source.

At our core we have access to peace, calm and relief from frenzy.

We are in the springtime of something new.

We exist in a reality of expressed duality, whether real or imagined, I’m not sure which, but either way we experience it.

Just beyond this reality is an experience where duality merges back to one.

Formlessness, selflessness, locationlessness, timelessness, fearlessness, we feel it as unconditional love.

We can visit this experience to find clarity, help and peacefulness.

No matter how many things seem to be closed due to change, we can always access our core.

We always have access to the unconditional love of whomever or whatever you believe created this experience we call living.

Send love to all, let’s share our wealth.

Trust the Process

Morning Meds; 3 21 20

Sometimes to find balance in the midst of the storm we just need to trust in the process.

Tao Te Ching, 74

If you realize that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to.

If you aren’t afraid of dying, there is nothing you can’t achieve.

Trying to control the future is like taking the master carpenter’s place.

When you handle the master carpenter’s tools, chances are that you’ll cut your hand.

77

As it acts in the world, the Tao is like the bending of a bow.

Top is bent downward; the bottom is bent up.

It adjusts excess and deficiency so that there is perfect balance.

It takes from what is too much and gives to what isn’t enough….

Release the love within your core, we are filled with love, let’s share our wealth.

Schedule a Play Day

Morning Meds; 3 20 19

When’s the last time you had a play day with your higher whatever?

I didn’t know it was possible.

I asked for one this morning.

“Let’s just hang out, maybe we can go somewhere new, think a new thought, feel things I’ve never felt before. Let’s just play.”

I came from a place where God was not a fun guy.

I’m grateful to know that I was misinformed.

We are unconditionally loved.

We no longer need to fear.

Creating Forks in Our Path

Morning Meds; 3 19 19

Anytime we alter our opinions, take a new look, reevaluate a situation, receive a new insight, think a different thought, we open doors to new possibilities.

Flexibility and openness allow us to create change in our lives.

New thoughts become forks in our path to a different future.

If you are feeling stuck, a new thought may be the rope needed to pull you out.

Look at the opposite viewpoint, if you’ve never really looked, you don’t know what could be waiting for you.

Broadcast Love

Morning Meds 3 19 20

Let’s send thoughts of love, fearlessness and spiritual clarity to the collective consciousness of humanity.

Every little bit helps and may the grace be equal to the need.

We are one huge energy mass sharing a planet and many of us are in need, broadcast love for and to all.

Let’s share our wealth.

Tending Our Garden

Morning Meds; 3 18 19

I read somewhere, the word cultivation, would have more accurately captured the Asian meaning of the practice of meditation.

It is more than the process of quieting our mind.

The time spent meditating, cultivates our mind, soul and spirit, like tending a garden.

Like a garden, new insights are like tender sprouts springing into view.

New insights, like tender sprouts, need to be nurtured with love and care to help them mature so we can savor their sweet flavor when we can fully apply them to our lives.

Lao-tzu Laughs in the Background

Morning Meds; 3 17 19

Tao te Ching 36. To expand we must become infinitely small.

Our essence, our core, the what we truly are, is not a thought or a thing.

It is the consciousness the births the thought, the consciousness that imagines the thing.

Yesterday I wrote about the difference between passing through a difficulty compared to pushing against one.

We are essence.

One thought opens the door to a new one and oh the spender.

I’ve been asking to see my core, today I saw a glimpse.

Rumor has it, that 99% of our universe is empty space.

If a single atom was the size of a house, the next closest atom might be a mile away.

Lots of empty space.

We are the empty space between the atoms.

We are nothingness, the unmanifested potential, Lao-tzu’s non-being.

His indescribable, Tao.

As nothingness, we are everything and everywhere.

As nothingness, we are not passing through the world, the world is passing through us.

Being all the empty space of infinity means our center is anywhere and everywhere.

There is nowhere we are not, yet we are nowhere.

As the empty space between all the atoms of manifested energy, we are inside every rock, plant, animal and human on this planet.

We are truly connected.

We can feel another’s pain or joy.

We are truly one at our core.

We are not only a part of every space in the universe, we are also every empty space in the universe.

As empty space, any physical condition is accessible, any troubling thoughts approachable, we are boundless.

Lao-tzu laughed in celebration with me this mornings.

Ask to see your core essence and don’t be surprised to find nothing there.
