Two Questions

Morning Meds; 12 1 22

When life seems to stall when in pursuit of desired outcome, there are two questions one can ask.

The answers to one of the questions might get the ball rolling again faster than the other.

You can ask, “What has stopped me?”

This leads to a list of problematic circumstances and situations that are often beyond our control.

The second question you can ask is, “Why am I stopping?”

This puts the ball back in your hands because you have a say about you.

“I feel overwhelmed,” you have a say in that.

“I’m afraid it will not come to be,” you can adjust your beliefs.

We have access to abilities within ourselves that lay dormant unless they are touched by our inner knowledge that we are one with the Creator Of All.

There will always be circumstances and situations, and there will always be our inner ability to rise to the challenge.

Sometimes the answer is to ask the correct question.

Chapters

Morning Meds; 11 20 22

Chapters in a story proceed another for a reason, each chapter prepares the reader for the next.

Often in life we wish we had arrived at our desired destination, but each chapter is a part of our journey.

It is the details that make a story interesting, without a variety of experiences we would not be the individual we are.

Removing Shadows

Morning Meds; 11 18 22

Shadow are usually old hurts and fears in need of healings.

Often the quickest way to remove a shadow it to look toward the light and spend less time looking at the shadow.

Sometimes if it is a shadow that lingers it becomes necessary to look at what is creating it.

A shadow can’t exist without something to create its image.

Most of them are stagnated emotional energy that need to be released.

Love, kindness, and acceptance opens doors.

Loves light doesn’t cast a shadow.

Endless Sea of Time

Morning Meds 11 10 22

We are more than we realize

Stronger than we seem

We are resilient as stone

Our eternal roots are as invasive as a weed

We have all eternity to draw upon if ever we doubt our strength

We have existed forever in some form or another

Consciousness shimmering, creating ripples within the endless sea of time

Eternities future is as endless as its past

It is impossible to know the location of when or where we are

The only when or where that we can be certain of is our present moment

For in this moment, we somehow exist

This point of moment is of the most importance

For it is the only moment can we drop a pebble of choice and create a new ripple within our endless sea of time

Imagining Better Things

Morning Meds; 11 8 22

“Not much you can do about it.” Is a common refrain, it seems to be an echo of disappointment, physically this is often true.

But you can always imagine better things or imagine disappointments to be the start of something new.

A landslide reveals a hidden treasure site, or the loss of a job makes way for a better one.

Imagine a family members life improving,

Imagine a friend receiving a healing even if it is a gradual improvement,

Imagine a conflict with another softening or dissolving.

We create our reality and all of it begins with a thought, so do the things you can do, imagine better things and create anew.

Submerged Capabilities

Morning Meds; 11 7 22

Incredible capabilities shimmering just beneath the surface each within hands grasp.

Like gathering pebbles from a brook, nuggets of gold from a stream, seashells from tidal pools.

Doubts can cloud the waters, ripples can distort our view, unawareness impedes the search.

Faith, quite and realization clear the way so our hands of intent can gather what resided within our soul.

Pearls of Purpose

Morning Meds; 11 6 22

Pearls of purpose are often born of sorrow, conflict or disappointment and

become the road map guiding people’s lives.

An oyster secretes layers of a material similar to its shell to protect itself when a foreign particle becomes lodged within.

These layers of secretions are produced to surround the irritation and this protective process is what grows a pearl.

In time the irritation becomes lost beneath the layers until only the beauty of the process remains.

We too can have irritants that can become lodged within, and we too form protective layers as we deal with them.

Our protective choices are always fear or love and what we choose to surround them with determines the structure of our pearl.

It is within our souls to wish to help others and if followed it can become our pearl of purpose.

If we strive to wrap our disappointments, conflicts, sorrows with love for ourselves and others we can shape our purpose towards helping others.

Without challenges, irritations, disappointments there would be no pearls of purpose, saintly lives, heroes or champions, for out of pain empathy is born.

If your purpose is to help others, strive to love the process and apply love to every situation.

Love’s Handmaidens

Morning Meds; 11 5 22

Hope is not the tool of youthful folly; it is what carrier us along our way.

Hope shines its light into the future to light up the present.

It is the force that propels us forward.

Hope is what causes the seedling to push its way to the surface in search of the light.

Without hope the roots wither for there is no place to grow.

Hope and Faith are the handmaidens of Love.

Love is All There Is,

all creation formed and unformed is Love,

Hope is the light of the future,

Faith is the knowing of the present,

“But the greatest of these is Love.”

Binoculars

Morning Meds; 11 4 22

Many of us are taught that we are spiritually distant and that we are separated from a distant Creator.

It is as if we need binoculars to find our way.

What if we the contact we seek is closer than we were taught?

What if our Creator we seek is within us and the illusion of separation is just that, an illusion?

In quiet contemplation we lose the need for binoculars for we begin to see and feel that we and our Creator are one.

As we begin to search from the interior of our core, we find we are closer than we supposed.
